Less noise. More context.
Finvestex publishes The Finvestex Brief: a short, free email that lands at 8:45 a.m. ET every US trading day with the three things worth knowing before the opening bell.
Why we started
Financial news is loud. Headlines move faster than the facts behind them, and the documents that actually explain a move — a filing, a central-bank statement, an earnings release — are buried under commentary.
We read those documents so you don’t have to, and boil them down to a four-minute read: what moved, who moved the money, and what’s coming next. Plain English, with the source one click away.
What’s in every issue
Market Pulse
Major indices, important company announcements, economic data, interest rates, earnings surprises and the developments driving sentiment.
Big Money Moves
Significant purchases and sales disclosed by executives, institutional portfolio filings, activist stakes and major acquisitions — always with the transaction date and the filing date.
The Watchlist
Upcoming earnings, economic releases, company catalysts and scheduled announcements — and what different outcomes could mean.
How we work
Primary sources first
SEC filings, central-bank statements, official economic data and company announcements. Every story links to where it came from, so you can check it yourself.
Two dates, always
Insider trades and fund filings are reported with the date the trade happened and the date it was filed. Older filings are labelled as older filings, never as live trades.
Context, not advice
We explain what happened and why it could matter. We never tell anyone to buy, sell or hold anything.
A person signs off
An editor chooses every story. AI helps research and draft, automated checks test every figure and date, and anything that can’t be verified is held back.
Free to read
The Brief is free. If we ever carry sponsorships, they will be clearly labelled — never disguised as reporting.
Corrections, in the open
When we get something wrong we fix it and say so. Spotted an error? Tell us through the contact page.
